Ans: The woman was not paid attention to cross the road.

Ans: No, the boys lend the old woman a helping hand.

Ans: The boy will lend a hand to help the mother to cross the road.

Ans: The boy helped the old woman to cross the road. This made the boy happy.

 

8. What did the boy tell his friends?

Ans: The boy tells his friends that she was a somebody’s mother she was aged and poor and slow. He hope that some fellow will lend a hand to help mother. But her own dear boy is far away.

Ans: The old woman say in prayer that God be kind to the noble boy who is somebody’s son and pride and joy. She prayed like this because the boy helped her to cross the road.

Ans: We like this poem. This narrative poem extols the kindness shown by a boy towards a poor woman. The moral of this poem we help the old people and physical handicapped people.
