The Elephant
Once upon a time, in a small village there were six blind men. One day they went to a temple to find out what an elephant looked like. The first blind man touched the side of the elephant. He said it was like a wall. The second blind man caught hold of the trunk and said it was like a snake. The third blind man touched the tail and said it was like a rope. The fourth blind man felt the elephant’s leg and said it was like a pillar. The fifth blind man reached up and touched the elephant’s ear. He said it was like a fan.
The last blind man caught hold of the tusk. He said the elephant it was like a spear. Each of them was right, yet each of them was wrong.
